We've had this toaster oven for about a year and a half. I agree with the other reviews that this works pretty well (though it doesn't toast/heat up as fast as my older, smaller oven). We upgraded to this one mainly for the size. I can easily fit a large dinner plate in this oven and can toast 5 slices of my homemade bread at a time. We use it a lot as we do not own a microwave (by choice), and the large capacity is a big plus for us. I've never had a problem with burns as I just use the handle and avoid touching everything else!
My only issue with this oven is that the controls are not very intuitive. My husband and I are fine with it because we're used to it but every time we have company and they try to use it we have to tell them which buttons to push. For example, to toast bread, you push "Pizza/Bake", then "Toast", then select how dark you want the toast (if it's not already at the setting you want), then "Start/Stop". And if you have 4 or more slices, you have to push the "4-6 Slice" button before you hit start. Not a big deal, but surely they could have made this thing a little simpler to operate! Baking is easier to figure out. I, personally, would just prefer dials and 1 or 2 buttons so that you don't have to pull out the user manual just to toast bread the first time. But like I said, this is a very minor issue and only a problem when we have company. Overall, it's a large toaster oven that performs well at baking and toasting.

We replaced our old Cuisinart TOB with the TOB-155 digital model because the electro-mechanical controls failed one month after the warranty expired. Similar e/m controls also failed on our first TOB by another manufacturer. This new model is a good design and one of the few digital models currently available. Size and finishes are acceptable. Power cord comes off the bottom instead of the side requiring a complex leg support system. For some reason ours does not sit level so we must be careful when having liquids, dough and batters. To open door, just use your fingers with palm upturned to avoid burning knuckles on door. Digital controls are user friendly and isolated from heat source. Compact design is good although higher and deeper than our old TOB. To clean crumb tray you must access it from the back not a good design, but workable.

We bought this toaster oven Nov 2009 and love it. We replace a smaller toaster oven since we use it so much to warm food for our kids. It doesn't make sense to heat a large oven for a few fish sticks or a chicken breast. I opted for the TOB-155 over the TOB-195 since they seem exactly the same except for the large fan housing stick out of the right side of the TOB-195. The TOB-155 toast perfectly (especially frozen waffles) and also does a good job on pizzas. We've found we need to lower the baking temp about 25 degrees for most recipes so things don't get over-cooked.

Having had a cheap toaster oven that went unused for many years for that I reason, I am very happy with this Cuisineart toaster oven. I fits a lot of oven into a compact size, heats up quickly and is easy to use.

I'm skeptical of most products' quality these days, having been burned (literally once or twice, as well) a few times too many. But this oven: wow!
We purchased this to replace our apartment's oven (crap, cheap, broken)--and it's come through outstandingly. Not only is it versatile (baking, toasting, reheating) but the convection build is a god-send! Easy to clean too, all parts are easily accessible (although you may get the occasional crap onto the heating elements).
I HIGHLY recommend this, and I am hard-to-please. No higher praise, have I. :)
